It’ a place to enjoy wonderfantastical hands-on experiences. What began as a children’s retail store, focusing on science and imagination, has grown into an exciting and thriving chain. Christine and her company have been endlessly recognized locally and nationally for achievements and influence in the community. Most impressive is The ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailing Association) Retailer Excellence Award, multiple National SCORE awards, being named MSNBC Small Business of the Year, and Charleston’s Best Local Toy Store Award year after year. Through her business, Christine has a mission to facilitate growth and development of local inventors and child entrepreneurs. At its heart, Wonder Works’ passion lies within the growth of the local economy and the unique experiences the stores create for their customers.
